Green Peppers with Tomato Sauce

Materials List
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 small onion, chopped
2 tbsp shortening
1 lb ground beef
6 medium green peppers
2 cups cooked egg noodles
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cans tomato soup

Directions
Cook celery and onion in shortening until soft.  Add meat, cook till pink disappears.  Cut peppers lengthwise, boil for 6 minutes.  Drain.  Add noodles, seasonings, and 1/2 can soup to meat mixture.  Put peppers in greased dish, pour meat mixture over top.  Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.  Pour full can of soup over top, bake additional 15 minutes.

(You can hollow out peppers and stuff with filling.  Bake for the same times.)
