Dumplings

Material List
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
flour

Directions
In a mixing bowl, beat one egg, add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 cup milk.  Stir in enough flour a little at a time until thick enough for spoon to stand.  Drop dumplings into hot liquid using a teaspoon.  Cook 8-10 minutes.  Boils over easily so watch closely.  Pepper to taste.

I use these with beef broth or chicken broth.
